Tracy L. Spencer (50) has been charged with the Class B Felony of Dist/Del/Manuf/Produce or Attempt to or Possess With Intent to Dist/Del/Manuf/ Produce a Controlled Substance, the Class C Felony of Possession of a Controlled Substance (x2), and the Class A Misdemeanor of Unlawful Use of Drug Paraphernalia.
Sheriff Walter states that on Monday, March 21, 2016 the Scott County Sheriff’s Emergency Response Team executed a search warrant at 86 Yucca Drive, Benton. Spencer was located in her bedroom where deputies located two (2) leather zipper bags. Inside one bag was digital scales and three (3) plastic baggies containing a crystal like substance, believed to be methamphetamine. The other zipper bag contained glass smoking pipes and more of the crystal-like substance. Another digital scale was located and empty plastic baggies were next to it and an unlabeled medication bottle was also discovered that contained Hydrocodone. Throughout the residence, numerous other paraphernalia were located; syringes were found loaded and they will be sent off for further testing.
The crystal-like substance field tested positive for methamphetamine and weighed approximately 1.9 grams.
Spencer was arrested and transported to the Scott County Jail pending charges where she remains in custody. Bond was set by the court at $15,000 cash or surety.
