Shooting in East Bakersfield 
On March 22nd, 2016 at about 11:15 am Kern County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the 1000 block of Knotts Street in east Bakersfield regarding a victim of a shooting.
When deputies arrived they located an adult male in the roadway suffering from several gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to Kern Medical Center for treatment and is currently in serious but stable condition.
Witnesses indicated the suspect or suspects may have fled the area in a white compact vehicle. This investigation is ongoing. If anyone has information on this case they are asked to call the Sheriff’s Office at 661-861-3110 or Secret Witness at 661-322-4040.
