The Campbell Police Department is currently investigating a home invasion robbery that occurred on March 24, 2016, at approximately 2:40 am, on Elwood Drive in the City of Campbell.
Several male suspects broke into the home through a rear window while the residents were inside. The suspects were masked and armed with weapons. Fortunately, no injuries were sustained during the incident.
The Campbell Police Department does NOT believe that this robbery was a random occurrence. Captain Gary Berg said, “It appears that the residence was specifically targeted due to the cultivation of marijuana inside the home.”
The suspects have only been described as adult males. No vehicles were seen or heard in relation to this incident.
