Sirens were sounded by dispatch in error. There is NO tornado warning. 
The Delaware County tornado sirens were sounded in error for a Thunderstorm Warning. The protocol for Delaware County is to sound the outdoor siren system for a Tornado Warning Only. As a reminder there is no all clear siren and any time the sirens sound the public is directed to turn to local media for information.
All Hazard Weather Radio is the preferred method of tornado warning.
Outdoor sirens are not designed for anyone indoors and may be difficult to hear during bad weather.
