Burglary 2500 Block E. Newton Ave 
On March 27, 2016, at 7:00am, Shorewood police squads were dispatched to a burglary complaint in the 2500 Block E. Newton Ave. An unknown subject entered the residence through an unlocked door and stole a wallet, sometime between 12:00 AM and 7:00 AM. An unknown subject was seen walking west from the location by the complainant, wearing a brown ¾ length jacket with the hood up, no further description regarding the subject is available. It is not known if the subject was involved in the burglary. The subject was not located after searching the area. This incident is currently being investigated and anyone who may have seen something suspicious is urged to contact the Shorewood Police Department, at 414-847-2610.
