Camden/Hicks
Arrest: 32 year old male, resident of unincorporated Los Gatos
Charges: Outstanding warrants
Officers located a subject hitch-hiking and determined that he had an active warrant. The subject was arrested and transported to Main Jail.

Courtesy report for Santa Cruz County
Officers responded to the Police Operations Building to meet with a victim reporting fraud. The victim reported that he received a telephone call at his business indicating that his PG&E account was past due. The victim was convinced to place $2,000 on reloadable gift cards to avoid electricity shut-off. Upon contact with PG&E, the scam was discovered. Officers documented the report as a courtesy to Santa Cruz County.

Oak Rim Way/Blossom Hill
Officers responded to a hit and run collision. A white pick-up truck was seen driving recklessly and had struck several parked cars. The suspect vehicle was located unoccupied and impounded. Follow-up is being conducted.

Arrest: 45 year old male, resident of Sunnyvale
Charges: Shoplifting
Officers responded to a business to take custody of a shoplifter who had exited with stolen property. The subject was cited and released.

Highway 9/N. Santa Cruz Ave
Arrest: 28 year old male, resident of San Jose; 24 year old male, resident of San Jose
Officers conducted an enforcement stop and determined the driver to be on parole and the passenger to be on probation. A search was conducted, yielding methamphetamine and burglary tools (lock picks). Both subjects were cited and released.

Arrest: 33 year old male, resident of San Jose
Charges: Hypodermic needles
Officers responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle and determined the driver of the vehicle was in possession of hypodermic needles. He was cited and released.

50-blk Los Gatos-Saratoga Rd
Arrest: 39 year old male, resident of San Jose
Charges: Vehicle theft, possession of stolen property, possession of a controlled substance, possession of paraphernalia, possession of burglary tools
Officers located an occupied stolen vehicle. The subject was contacted and taken into custody without incident. The vehicle had been reported stolen to San Jose Police on 3/17/2016. The suspect was found to be in possession of several shaved keys, methamphetamine, and stolen property. He was arrested and transported to Main Jail.

Wedgewood/Wimbledon
Arrest: 39 year old male, resident of San Jose; 33 year old male, resident of Madera
Charges: Trespassing on railroad property, outstanding warrant.
Officers responded to a report of a vehicle stuck in the mud and subjects running away. Upon their arrival, officers determined that the occupants of the vehicle had been off-roading along the tracks and had become stuck. The occupants returned and one subject was found to have a warrant. He was arrested, and transported to Main Jail. The driver of the previously stuck vehicle was cited for trespassing on railroad property.

Lark/Winchester
Arrest: 32 year old male, resident of Stockton
Charges: Misappropriation of lost property
Officers contacted a subject and found him to be in possession of an iPhone and wallet belonging to a female resident of Sunnyvale. The subject claimed to have located the items while walking in Campbell. The owner of the property was contacted and stated the items were lost in Campbell a few hours prior. The subject was cited and released.

3/20/2016 0727 hours
More/Vineyard
Officers responded to a report of a subject walking in the roadway covered in blood. It was determined that there was an injury traffic collision being investigated by the Santa Clara Sheriff’s Office in their jurisdiction nearby which the subject was related to. Officers detained the subject and turned him over to the Sheriff’s Office.
