Key Bank Robbery in Kokomo
Kokomo – Today, at approximately 1:50 p.m., officers from the Indiana State Police and the Kokomo Police Department responded to an active hold up alarm at the Key Bank located at 1151 East Hoffer Street in Kokomo, IN. When officers arrived, the suspect had already exited the bank. A subsequent search of the area did not reveal the suspect.
The preliminary investigation by Indiana State Police Detective Josh Rozzi revealed that a black male approximately 5’11” tall entered the bank and displayed a handgun. He demanded money from a bank teller. The teller complied with the request and the man exited the bank and fled on foot, in an unknown direction. The suspect was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, a red t-shirt, blue jeans, and light colored shoes. The suspect also had facial hair. He escaped with an undetermined amount of United States currency.
