Decedent Leonel Bucio (37) Santa Ana
On April 1, 2016, at about 927pm, officers responded to a call of a man down in the parking lot of El Coral bar. When officers arrived they found an adult male lying on the parking lot floor suffering from a fatal gunshot wound to the upper body.
Further investigation revealed the decedent was involved in an altercation with the on-site armed security officer resulting in the fatal shooting.
The investigation is still ongoing.
