On March 3, 2016, we received a phone call from the Woodway HEB about what they believed to be ten fraudulent checks that have been cashed and are believed to be fraudulent forgeries totaling over $67,000.


Detective Brummett has worked diligently with HEB security and management, the Fusion Center as well as other sources. A suspect was developed on each check. I am pleased to announce that early this morning, officers from Woodway, Hewitt, and Robinson executed arrest warrants and transported the following to McLennan County Jail:


1. Lavodges R. Greer (DOB 4/25/84)
820 Parkview Cr. Hewitt, TX

2. Angela C. Moncrief (DOB (8/20/61)
1700 Breezy Dr. Hewitt, TX


3. Bryan Paddock (DOB 1/15/97)
216 Longwood Dr. Hewitt, TX
(arrested on 3/18/2016)

4. Ebony D. Stephens (DOB 9/15/91)
1737 W. Frederick St. Riesel, TX

5. Joshua Turner (DOB 1/2/92)
620 N. Hewitt Dr. Hewitt, TX


6. Terrence W. Henry (DOB 8/11/78)
820 Parkview Cr. Hewitt, TX

The following suspects have pending warrants:

509 Hewitt Dr. Hewitt, TX


2. Juanita Puryear (DOB 11/16/88)
4312 Claudette Hewitt, TX


3. Pamela R. Schronk (DOB 9/20/67)
1700 Breezy Dr. Hewitt, TX

4. Catisha Stevenson (DOB 4/27/91)
217 Sweetbriar Cr. Hewitt, TX




We have good reason to believe that this investigation will expand based on additional information we have developed today.
