UPDATE April 7, 2016 @ 5:20 p.m.

NPD investigators have made an arrest in the case involving alleged threats made on Twitter. A juvenile was taken into custody today at approximately 4:35 p.m. and was booked at the Hamilton County Juvenile Services Center.

*A charge is merely an accusation and the defendant(s) is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.


PRESS RELEASE March 24, 2016 @ 10:15 a.m.

On March 23, 2016 at approximately 11:23 p.m., the Noblesville Police Department opened an investigation into an incident involving threatening comments posted on Twitter. The comments made reference to the Noblesville High School and as a result, school officials were contacted. Since that time, investigators and school officials have been in non-stop communication with one another in order to ensure that all parties involved have the most up-to-date information.

Earlier this morning, investigators spoke with two (2) individuals thought to have information about the incident. After further investigation, those individuals were released. At this time, investigators from the police department continue to work on the case. Currently, there are no suspects or persons of interest. As with any ongoing investigation, information is subject to change with each passing minute.
We have no other information to release. Updates will be provided if additional information becomes available.
