Severe Thunderstorm Watch for our area until 10 p.m. CST.

THE NWS STORM PREDICTION CENTER HAS ISSUED A

* SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH FOR PORTIONS OF
WESTERN AND CENTRAL OKLAHOMA and EXTREME NORTHWEST TEXAS

* EFFECTIVE THIS SUNDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING FROM 510 PM UNTIL 10:00 PM CDT.

* PRIMARY THREATS INCLUDE...
SCATTERED LARGE HAIL AND ISOLATED VERY LARGE HAIL EVENTS TO 2.5 INCHES IN DIAMETER POSSIBLE ISOLATED DAMAGING WIND GUSTS TO 70 MPH POSSIBLE A TORNADO OR TWO POSSIBLE
SUMMARY...CLUSTERS OF THUNDERSTORMS WILL DEVELOP AND SPREAD NORTHEASTWARD THROUGH LATE EVENING TOWARD CENTRAL OKLAHOMA. THE STORM ENVIRONMENT WILL BECOME FAVORABLE FOR SUPERCELLS WITH LARGE
HAIL AND ISOLATED DAMAGING WINDS THIS EVENING. THE TORNADO RISK WILL BE MARGINAL AT BEST FOR THE NEXT FEW HOURS...BUT SOUTHWEST INTO CENTRAL OKLAHOMA WILL CONTINUE TO BE MONITORED FOR ANY INCREASE IN
TORNADO RISK AFTER SUNSET.

THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH AREA IS APPROXIMATELY ALONG AND 80 STATUTE MILES NORTH AND SOUTH OF A LINE FROM 50 MILES WEST NORTHWEST OF FORT SILL OKLAHOMA TO 15 MILES SOUTH SOUTHEAST OF

PERSONS IN THESE AREAS SHOULD BE ON THE LOOKOUT FOR THREATENING WEATHER CONDITIONS AND LISTEN FOR LATER STATEMENTS AND POSSIBLE WARNINGS.
