Tornado & Severe Weather Awareness Week is April 11-15, 2016. Throughout Adams County, sirens will sound for two mock tornado warnings on Thursday, April 14, 2016, at 1:45 p.m. and at 6:55 p.m. This is the first year that a tornado drill will be held in the evening. If there is actual severe weather that day, the drill will be re-scheduled and the emergency sirens will sound on Friday, April 15, 2016, at the same time. If there is actual severe weather on Friday, the drill will be cancelled and will not be re-scheduled.
