Anderson Police Collar Most Wanted Subject

On Tuesday, April 11th 2016, at about midnight, Anderson Police contacted 37 year old, Anderson resident. Jacob Eugene Taylor during a routine traffic stop on Hwy 273 near Spring Gulch Road. Taylor, had been added to the Shasta County Most Wanted list back in February 2016 and had an active felony warrant for his arrest concerning Burglary, Grand Theft Auto and Car Jacking.

During the contact, Taylor attempted to dupe police by falsely providing his brother’s name as his own. However, a brief check of past documented tattoos by the officer’s foiled Taylor’s plan to further elude the process of the court and he was taken into custody without incident. Anderson Police were assisted by the Shasta County Sheriff’s Office during the arrest.

Taylor was booked into the Shasta County Jail. His bail amount is listed at $100,000.00.
