The Town of Washington is seeking a person to serve as Town Welfare Administrator. This is a part-time as needed position to process and review applications for assistance from existing clients and new requests as they are filed.
The Welfare Administrator will report to the Board of Selectmen. Requirements are to meet with clients at the Welfare Office in Town Hall by appointment; an ability to read and understand English; basic math and accounting skills; the ability to prepare an annual budget; and attend training & seminars as provided by the State and other social service agencies.
