PORTSMOUTH POLICE NEED ASSISTANCE LOCATING MISSING TEEN BOY
Detectives with the Portsmouth Police Department Special Victims Unit are asking for the public’s help in locating 12 year-old Immanuel B. Birdine of Portsmouth. According to detectives, Immanuel was last seen at approximately 1:45 p.m. this afternoon, as he ran away from S.H. Clarke’s New Directions program, located in the 2800 block of Turnpike Road. Immanuel has not been seen or heard from since he left school this afternoon and he has not returned home.
Immanuel Birdine is as a black male that stands approximately 5’5” tall and weighs 230 pounds. He has brown eyes and black hair. Immanuel was last seen wearing a white polo shirt, black pants, blue shoes, and blue/black printed jacket.

Anyone with information as to the whereabouts of Immanuel Birdine is asked to call the Portsmouth Police Department at (757) 393-5300 or the Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP℠. As always, tipsters who call the crime line are never asked to give their name or required to testify in court. If a tipster’s information leads to an arrest, the recovery of drugs or stolen property they could be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1000.
