West Covina Police Department investigates double homicide, suspect in custody
DATE OF RELEASE: April 14, 2016 Time: 1100 hours
On Wednesday evening at approximately 8:30 pm, West Covina Police Dispatch received a call of several shots heard and the sounds of children screaming in the area of the 1300 block of E. Oahu, West Covina. Responding officers located the condominium in question and made contact with a male (suspect) who surrendered without further incident. Two adult victims, one male and one female in their 60’s were located in the residence and were pronounced dead on arrival. Three children were also found hiding in one of the restrooms. None of the children were physically injured. No additional suspects are being sought at this time.
