Today John Discola was found guilty during a jury trial on all three charges brought against him by the Chittenden States Attorney’s Office. John Discola was arrested on May 26, 2015, by the Chittenden Unit for Special Investigations and the Burlington Police Department. Discola was charged with two counts of Lewd and Lascivious Conduct with a Child and one count of Lewd and Lascivious Conduct. Discola’s charges stemmed from multiple incidents which occurred at last year’s Vermont City Marathon. Discola had grabbed the buttocks of one adult female, as well as two juvenile females during the event. Discola was a stranger to the victims in this case. Discola is incarcerated and will be awaiting sentencing.
