Highlights of this year's festivity include a wide selection of wines offered by "The Wineries on Highway 94," five local vineyards. Chula Vista's Bay Bridge Brewing will provide its craft beer. Favorite area restaurants and food vendors will offer tasty treats. Silent and live auctions will showcase outstanding gift items and packages, including VIP concert tickets to see major recording artists, such as Brad Paisley, Journey, Rascal Flatts, The Cure, Dierks Bentley, and many more, at the Sleep Train Amphitheatre.
Entertainment will again be provided by KSDS radio deejay John Phillips, who will broadcast the best of old and new dance music on the terrace, a popular feature of the evening. Another annual favorite will be the grand prize drawing for a $1000 gift card; tickets for this drawing are $5 each and can be purchased in advance from each library branch as well as at the event. The winner need not be present.
"Thanks to our generous sponsors and the library lovers of Chula Vista, we invite the community to join us for an evening of good music, great food and drink, and fantastic prizes, all to support a wonderful cause - our Chula Vista Public Library," said Betty Waznis, Library Director. "Proceeds from this year's event will benefit the Foundation's support of a number of library services and endeavors."
