The Run the River race will take place, Saturday, April 16, and will affect Riverside Rd. from 7:15 am to approx 9am

*Road Closure for Saturday, April 16*

The Run the River 5K/10K race will take place, Saturday, April 16, and will affect Riverside Rd. (and some intersecting roads) from approximately 7:15 a.m. to approximately 9 a.m.

Both the 5K and 10K portions of the race will start at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church (675 Riverside Rd.) and be run in the eastbound lane of Riverside Rd. The turnaround for the 5K will be near Martin’s Landing’s River Club, and the 10K will veer onto Old Riverside Rd., looping back onto Riverside Rd. where the two roads meet, just east of Eves Rd.

--Both lanes of Riverside Rd., between Dogwood Rd. and St. Andrew’s Catholic Church (675 Riverside Rd.). will be closed from approx. 7:15 to 8:00 a.m., while the majority of the runners spread out.

--The westbound lane of Riverside Rd., from Eves Rd. to Dogwood Rd., will remain open.

--The westbound lane of Riverside Rd., from Dogwood Rd to SR9 (Atlanta St./Roswell Rd.), will open at approx. 8:05 a.m.

--Traffic will not be allowed to turn onto Riverside Rd. eastbound from SR9 (Atlanta St./Roswell Rd.) during the race. Anyone who does come through will have to make a U-turn at Riverside Park’s driveway.
