Red Flag Warning from 10 am - 5 pm for critical fire weather conditions. NO Permits issued until ban is lifted.
There is a Red Flag Warning in effect from 10 am until 5 this afternoon for critical fire weather conditions.
Starting late this morning through the afternoon hours, there will be winds from the northeast from 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph.
The relative humidity may be as low as 15 percent with temperatures around 60.
The impact this weather has on outside fires which develop could spread rapidly and uncontrollably.
A red flag warning means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now or will shortly. A combination of winds, low relative humidity and warm temperatures will create explosive fire growth potential.
Instructions:
NO Permits are being issued until the ban is lifted and if you have a seasonal permit, you are not allowed to burn until the bad is lifted. Please report any open fires to the fire department and do not discard smoking materials improperly.
