Hatcher/White Oaks
Arrest: 32 year old male, resident of San Jose;
Charges: Possession of marijuana, driving on a suspended license
Officers conducted an enforcement stop and determined that the driver was driving on a suspended license and was also in possession of marijuana. The driver was cited and released.

400-blk N. Santa Cruz
Arrest: 62 year old male, transient
Charges: Drunk in public
Officers responded to a business on a report of a disturbance and determined the involved party to be aggressive and intoxicated. He was arrested and transported to Main Jail.

Arrest: 30 year old male, resident of Santa Cruz; 38 year old female, resident of Santa Cruz; 42 year old male, resident of Santa Cruz
Charges: Outstanding warrants, possession of stolen property, possession of burglary tools, possession of drug paraphernalia
Officers conducted an enforcement stop and determined the driver to be in possession of syringes. A female passenger was also determined to be in possession of syringes. Another male passenger initially provided a false identification. Upon investigation, his true identity was revealed and two active warrants were located. A search of the vehicle yielded a backpack containing confirmed stolen property, tied to both male occupants. The male driver and female passenger were cited and released. The other male passenger was arrested for his outstanding warrants and transported to Main Jail.

Arrest: 75 year old female, resident of Los Gatos
Charges: Petty Theft
Officers responded to the library on a report of a stolen cell phone. Surveillance video of the theft was reviewed and an installed application on the device provided officers with the current location. The device was recovered and the suspect was cited and released.

100-blk Westhill
Officers responded to a package theft that was caught on surveillance. Follow-up is being conducted in determining the identification of the suspect.

Poppy/Daves
Officers responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle and located the involved vehicle in the area. The driver was contacted and consented to a search. No contraband was located.

4/7/2016 0240 hours
National/Samaritan
Arrest: Juvenile Female, resident of San Jose
Charges: Possession of stolen property, possession of burglary tools, vehicle theft
Officers observed a vehicle driving erratically and attempted to make an enforcement stop. The vehicle, later determined to be stolen out of the City of San Jose, was occupied by 5 subjects. The vehicle evaded officers briefly and all 5 subjects fled on foot. Officers immediately detained one of the passengers, who was a female juvenile. The other four suspects were pursued by officers, but were picked up by additional accomplices in another vehicle. The female juvenile was cited and released.

Officers responded to a report of a hit and run collision. Suspect information was obtained and follow-up is being conducted.

Arrest: 38 year old female, resident of Los Gatos; 34 year old male, resident of San Jose
Charges: Violation of probation, possession of stolen property, possession of drug paraphernalia, outside warrants
Officers executed a probation search at a residence and located numerous pieces of stolen mail. The probationer was arrested and transported to Main Jail. An associated male at the residence was found to be in possession of a methamphetamine pipe and was also found to have outstanding warrants. He was also transported to Main Jail.
