Cambridge City Man Arrested on Felony Charges
Cambridge City – Yesterday, a tip received by the Cambridge City Police Department led to a joint investigation with the Indiana State Police Meth Suppression Team. As a result of that tip and investigation, last evening around 5 p.m., the two agencies executed a search warrant on a residence at 305 W. Parkway in Cambridge City.
That search warrant led to the arrest of a Cambridge man on felony charges. Travis Durham, age, 26, wasn’t at home when the two agencies served the search warrant, but was located and arrested around 1:30 a.m. this morning at a home on NW. 1st St. in Richmond.
As a result of the search warrant, Durham stands charged with Manufacturing Methamphetamine, Level 4 Felony and Possession of Precursors, Possession of Methamphetamine and Maintaining a Common Nuisance, all three Level 6 Felony charges. Durham was lodged in the Wayne County Jail.
Often times meth labs are found as the result of a tip from neighbors, friends or family members. Anyone with any information about illegal drug activity may call the Indiana State Police Drug Tip Line at 1-800-453-4756. Tips can be made and kept anonymous.
