Hunterdon County Prosecutor Anthony P. Kearns, III, Chief of Detectives John J. Kuczynski and Phillipsburg Police Chief James Faulborn announced that a joint investigation by the Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office Fugitive Unit and the Phillipsburg Police Department has led to the arrest of one individual.
According to Prosecutor Kearns, “Ashley Nicole Turner, age 26, of Phillipsburg, NJ, was arrested on a Hunterdon County fugitive warrant in Phillipsburg, NJ. Ms. Turner’s warrant was for narcotics related activity. Ms. Turner has additional warrants in Florida and Tennessee and those authorities have been notified of her arrest. The defendant is currently lodged in the Warren County Jail.”
The filing of a criminal complaint is merely a step in the criminal justice process. The defendant is presumed innocent until the matter is resolved in a court of law.
