Traffic Advisory: Lane Closures at the Pensacola Street and King Street Intersection Beginning April 22 
RMY Construction, Inc., the Board of Water Supply’s (BWS) contractor for the water system improvement project on Pensacola Street, is scheduled to implement lane closures within the King Street intersection beginning Friday, April 22. Motorists are advised to expect the following traffic modifications:
• Closure of the two far right lanes of Pensacola Street between Young Street and Alohi Way; and
• Roving lane closures on South King Street between Victoria Street and Pensacola Street.
The indicated lane closures are subject to change based on project needs. Lane closures will occur Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Work in this area is expected to last for several weeks, and will take place on multiple occasions throughout the duration of the project.
The renewal of the water system will improve fire protection and water service reliability for residents and businesses in the area. Motorists are advised to use alternate routes during construction hours, if possible, and to allow for additional travel time. Drivers that must travel through the work area are asked to please abide by posted traffic signs.
