On April 30, 2016, the Los Gatos Monte Sereno Police Department will be participating in the National Prescription Drug Take-Back event, sponsored by the United States Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA). As a part of the nationally recognized program, local residents can return their unnecessary, unwanted, or expired prescription medications for safe disposal at designated collection locations. The Los Gatos Monte Sereno Police Department will host the National Prescription Drug Take-Back event at the Los Gatos Parks & Public Works Service Center located at 41 Miles Ave. in Los Gatos, between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Citizens are encouraged to utilize this opportunity to properly dispose of prescription medications which will be relinquished to the DEA for disposal.
