Big Bear Lake - Deps recover stolen property, methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia while serving a search warrant

INCIDENT: Stolen Property and Methamphetamine Recovered During Search Warrant
LOCATION: 41000 block of Oak St. Big Bear Lake
SUSPECT(S): Scott Payne, age 39 of Big Bear
SUMMARY:
On Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at approximately 3:00 p.m., deputies from the Big Bear Sheriff's Station Multi Enforcement Team served a search warrant at Scott Payne's residence in Big Bear Lake. During the search deputies recovered stolen property, methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and other evidence consistant with the sale of narcotics.
Scott Payne was taken into custody without incident. Payne was booked on felony charges of Sales of Methamphetamine, Possession of Stolen Property and Committing a Secondary Felony Offense after being released on his Own Recognizance from a previous arrest. Payne remains in custody in leiu of 100,000 bail. An arraignment hearing in this matter is set for April 22, 2016 at the San Bernardino Superior Court.
