Campbell PD To Host Drug, Battery Recycling, and Old Thermometer Drop-Off Event
On Saturday, April 30, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., the Campbell Police Department will host an event for the community to drop off medications, cell phones, eyeglasses and household batteries. The event is co-hosted by the West Valley Clean Water Program.
The event will be held at the Campbell Police Department, 70 North First Street in Campbell, CA.
We will be accepting controlled and non-controlled prescription medications, over-the-counter medications, glass mercury thermometers (double bagged in ziplock bags), household batteries (with ends taped), cell phones, and eyeglasses. Intravenous solutions, injectibles, syringes, and aerosols will not be accepted.
Residents who turn in old thermometers will receive a digital thermometer in exchange, while supplies last.
