Advisory

ADPS responded to a report of a subject trying to lure a child into a car.

At approximately 5:00 PM Friday 4/22/16, ADPS officers responded to the 600 block of Lynn St. for a report of a male subject attempting to lure a child into a car.  Officers stated a 10 year old boy reported a white male in his mid 30's approached him in a black two door vehicle and asked him if he wanted to come over and look at all his stuff.  When the boy told him no, he asked him if he wanted to see him do a burn out and the boy told him no again.  At this point a friend of the boy's came around the corner and the subject drove away.

The subject was described as a white male in his mid 30's and was wearing a floppy hat like you would wear at a beach.  The vehicle was described as a black 2 door, possibly a Pontiac Grand Prix.

Anyone with information is asked to call Silent Observer at 517-629-2700 or the Calhoun County Consolidated Dispatch Authority at 269-781-0911.
