The Palos Heights Police Department advises you to avoid IL Route 83 (College Drive) west of Harlem Avenue to Archer Avenue on Sunday, May 1, 2016 due to the Southwest Half Marathon & 10k, sponsored by CNB Bank and Trust and Palos Hospital.

Route 83 is scheduled to be closed between 4:30 AM - 12:30 PM between Harlem Avenue and Archer Avenue. North/South traffic along the route will also be detoured and not allowed to pass, including at Southwest Highway. Please avoid the area if possible and plan for different routes if necessary.
