This morning a suspicious device was left in front of the Sheriff's office just outside of the Bellflower Court House. The device appeared to be remote controlled and the Los Angeles County Bomb Squad was called to investigate. During the investigation, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department and the City of Bellflower Public Safety Department cordoned off the area as a precautionary measure. Upon completing the investigation, the bomb squad determined that the device was not a threat and left the scene approximately 30 minutes ago.
