On April 22, 2016 at approximately 10:07 pm the Montcalm County Sheriff’s Office, along with Montcalm County Emergency Services, were dispatched to a Personal Injury rollover accident in the area of the 1100 block of North Henkel Road in Reynolds Township, Montcalm County.
The driver, a 44 year old man from Elkhart Indiana, was traveling north on North Henkel Road in his 2005 Pontiac Grand Am. He lost control of his vehicle, went off the road and the vehicle overturned. He was examined on scene by medical personal and received only minor injuries. An investigation determined that the driver was intoxicated. He was arrested and taken to the Montcalm County Jail. He is scheduled to be arraigned in the 64B District Court on Friday April 29th.
Seatbelts were not used and alcohol was a factor in the crash.
