Hunterdon County Prosecutor Anthony P. Kearns, III, announced that Isidore Heath Campbell, age 42, of Holland Township, pled guilty on April 25, 2016, to Obstruction of Justice and Resisting Arrest. On October 19, 2015, the Holland Township Police were called to investigate a domestic violence incident.
Mr. Campbell departed the scene prior to police arriving and was later charged with Aggravated Assault in connection with the incident. Mr. Campbell fled to Pennsylvania to obstruct the investigation and elude arrest.
Mr. Campbell was later arrested by police in Shippensburg, Pa, on March, 11, 2016. He was transported back to New Jersey after waiving extradition.
As part of the plea agreement, Mr. Campbell could face up to 180 days in jail, probation and be required to undergo a mental health evaluation. Sentencing is scheduled for June 2016.
