HCSO Recover The Body Of Missing 23 Year Old Woman. 
(Harris County, TX) The Harris County Sheriff’s Office Missing Person unit has recovered the body of 23 year old Ariel Tapscott, missing since Sunday, April 24, 2016, after becoming lost while driving in northwest Harris County.
HCSO Marine and Aviation units discovered her car in a retention pond in the 19600 block of Stone Lake drive after an extensive search.
Investigators believe she drove on to a private road, and followed it until standing flood waters forced her to turn around.
She then backed up her Honda Accord in order to turn around, and drove backwards into the retention pond.
HCSO ABEL 1 helicopter observed tire tracks leading from the paved road into the retention pond on the nearly 400 acre ranch.
The HCSO Dive team was deployed, and after a 45 minute search the vehicle was found and her body was recovered from the vehicle.
