This Saturday, 4/30/2016, from 10:00am through 2:00pm, the Wellton Police Department will be accepting any expired, unwanted, or unused prescription medications citizens wish to dispose of. The National Prescription Drug Take Back Day is a partnership between the DEA and local law enforcement that provides an avenue for citizens to dispose of any unwanted prescription medications so they can be properly disposed of. Officers will be on the front porch of the police department on Saturday between 10:00am and 2:00pm to accept any unwanted prescription medications for the event. Please pass this information along to anyone who may benefit or have the need to discard of any prescription medications. Hope to see you there!
