BOIL ADVISORY
CITY OF KENTON WATER MAIN BREAK
KENTON, Ohio. – April 28, 2016 -
At this time, water is being restored to the City of Kenton. The Kenton-Hardin Health Department is requiring all restaurants and residents in Kenton municipal water district to adhere to boil advisory protocols, advising all to use bottled/gallon water for sanitation and cooking purposes, until further notice.
At this time:
• PROHIBITED:
o Ice Machines (use store bought ice)
o Fountain Pop machines
o Cooking with and consuming drinks such as coffee, tea, etc., with municipal water
• PERMITTED:
o prepackaged food and prepackaged drinks
o boiling municipal water for hand washing utensils
o bathing and restrooms
