Davis Police Investigate Allegations of Sexual Assault at Yolo County Library.
The Davis Police Department received a report regarding sexual assaults that occurred at the Davis branch of the Yolo County Library (315 East 14th Street). The single victim, a teenage male, claimed he was sexually assaulted in the bathroom of the library by an adult male several times over a several week period. The last contact occurred several weeks ago.
Detectives have conducted surveillance operations at the library in an attempt to identify a suspect. While detectives are pursuing leads in this case, at this point the suspect has not been identified. There is no information there are additional victims.
The suspect has been described as the following:
White male adult, short curly gray hair, gray facial hair, tall, slender/medium build, carrying a blue shoulder bag.
