Please be advised that starting Monday, May 2, 2016, Lakewood Avenue will be closed to traffic between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. due to the ongoing Water Main Replacement Project. To allow access to the Memorial Middle School during morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up, eastbound Lakewood, from Bowden to Ridge, will remain open to traffic until 8:30 a.m. and will re-open again at 2:30 p.m. Please be aware there will be work in progress on the roadway and extra caution will be required. In addition, westbound Lakewood, from Ridge Road to Bowden Road, will remain closed between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. We expect the project to be completed in approximately two weeks. Street parking will continue to be prohibited during work hours. We do expect residents to have access to their driveways and we not expect interruptions in water service at this time. We will keep you advised of any changes in this information as the project progresses. Thank you.
