JOIN US AT SAINT JOSEPH COLLEGE FOR INDIANA STATE POLICE CAREER CAMP (July 17-22nd, 2016

Lowell, Indiana-Similar to the Indiana State Police Academy, Career Camps give high school students (Grades 9th-12th) an in-depth look at law enforcement. Campers conduct their own crime scene investigations, hear from defense attorneys, K-9 units, bomb squad demonstrations, SWAT, and other experts in the criminal justice field, and watch exciting police demonstrations during the weeklong camp. Campers also get to participate in numerous hands on activities, to include: shooting simulator, defensive tactics skills and driving challenges.

These Co-Ed Camps allow students to make new friends from around the state of Indiana, participate in many recreational activities and experience what the state police academy is all about.

For the past several years, the Indiana Troopers Youth Services (ITYS) organization has coordinated the overall camp program, while the ISP provides the camp directors and staffing. The ITYS is a not-for-profit (501-c3) organization that operates solely on donations from various entities in order to assist deserving youth to attend camp who cannot afford to attend otherwise.

Perhaps you would consider a donation to the camp program to assist the ITYS in this endeavor.

You may donate through PayPal on the ITYS website: www.trooper.org or you can mail a check to their office: ITYS, 8660 East 21st Street, Indianapolis, IN, 46219. For further information go to http://www.trooper.org/ http://www.in.gov/isp/2329.htm
