Arrest: 32 year old male, resident of San Jose
Charges: Possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia
Officers conducted a traffic stop and determined the driver to be on searchable probation. A search yielded heroin, methamphetamine, and paraphernalia. He was cited and released.

Officers responded to a residential burglary.

4/19/2016 2342 hours
Knowles/Capri
Arrest: 33 year old male, resident of San Jose
Charges: False registration tabs, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia
Officers responded to a collision involving a vehicle and a fence, with additional damage to a Town of Los Gatos power pole. It was determined that the driver was in possession of methamphetamine and paraphernalia. He was arrested and transported to Main Jail.

Officers responded to a residential burglary.

4/21/2016 1435 hours
Towne Terrace/University
Officers responded to a vandalism that had just occurred. 3 suspects were seen smashing a car window. A witness chased the suspects away.

50-blk Los Gatos-Saratoga Rd.
Arrest: 29 year old male, resident of San Jose; 36 year old male, resident of San Jose; 37 year old female, resident of Santa Clara
Charges: Burglary, fictitious checks, identity theft, probation violation, possession of stolen property
Officers met with a subject who was a victim of an auto burglary in the city of San Francisco and had tracked one of his stolen devices to a location in Los Gatos. After conducting further investigation, officers executed a probation search and located a large amount of items related to identity theft and fictitious check manufacturing, including a large amount of stolen mail, stolen credit cards, identification cards, numerous checkbooks, printed and blank checks, a printer, and the reporting party’s stolen property. 3 suspects were arrested and transported to Main Jail. Officers continue to conduct follow-up with the 100+ known victims.

Arrest: 22 year old male, resident of Los Gatos
Charges: DUI
Officers responded to a collision involving a vehicle and a tree. It was determined that the driver displayed the objective signs of alcohol intoxication. He was arrested and transported to Main Jail.
