We have received notification that state route 17 has been closed in both directions between exits 124 and 125 in the Village of Goshen. Traffic delays in Chester may occur due to the resulting backup. The closure is due to an electrical fire impeding traffic and the repairs will not be completed until at least 4:30pm.
Additionally, the electrical fire has caused a power outage resulting in the traffic lights at Brookside Avenue and West Avenue/Chester Mall to become inoperable.
