The risk continues for minor coastal and tidal flooding through this evening’s high tide. A Coastal Flood Advisory is posted from 6 PM to midnight tonight for coastal and tidal locations. Tidal surge may reach 1 to 1.5 feet above the astronomical tide this evening. Seas today may reach 5 to 8 feet along the coast and around 2 feet in the Delaware Bay. A Small Craft Advisory is posted through 6 AM Saturday.
Impacts to New Jersey
Locations along the New Jersey coast, bays, back bays, and tidal rivers should remain vigilant for minor flooding during tonight’s high tide cycle. Minor flooding tonight may be higher than yesterday’s evening high tide. Localized roadway flooding is possible through Friday. We will continue to monitor conditions as they develop.
