Starting today the Anderson Police Department will be uploading videos to our very own YouTube channel. We will use YouTube in an effort to supplement our communication and information network in the community. This innovative media technique will allow us to better control the message, produce factual information from the scene of critical incidents and major investigations, and promote our department and employees. We will continue to push out press releases by other traditional methods (fax, teletype, Nixle, T.V., etc.) but now will have the option of adding videos “real time” from the scene if desired.

We will also continue to use other methods of social media, such as Facebook and Twitter to update our community and allow the community to get to know our staff.
