The Florence Township Police Department responded to an incident where a teenage girl reported that as she was walking on Hornberger Avenue in the area of Kinsman Street and a sedan pulled along side of her and the driver made a finger gesture to come to him. She continued to walk away from him and the vehicle pulled away.

The vehicle is described by the teenager as being blue/green/black in color. Unknown make or model. The driver is described as being a light skin black or Hispanic male.

Please remind your children about the importance of staying away from people they are not familiar with and to never approach a vehicle that they are unfamiliar with.
