Narrative:
On May 8, 2016, at about 10:50 PM, officers assigned to the Thousand Oaks Police Department responded to Cisco’s Restaurant for an armed robbery that had just occurred.
A male suspect entered the restaurant after it was closed and approached two employees. The suspect displayed a gun and demanded money from the employees. The employees handed the suspect an undisclosed amount of cash, and the suspect fled the location on foot. A search of the area was conducted, but the suspect was not located.
The suspect was described as a black male approximately 5'8" and 150 lbs. He was wearing a dark color hooded sweatshirt, black pants, and had a bandana covering the lower part of his face.
No employees were injured as a result of the robbery. The suspect is still outstanding if anyone has additional information they are encouraged to contact Detective James Sullivan at (805) 494-8222.
