The Dos Palos Police Department concluded a week long investigation of a reported rape.
53 year old Dos Palos Female was arrested and a 13 year old girl was turned over to CPS after the allegations of rape were found to be false.
The allegation began on May 01, 2016, and after several conflicting stories, cell phone searches, and video footage from a local convince store, investigators had enough information to question the accuracy of the original reporting.
The 13 year old admitted to investigators that her allegations were false and provided a reason why she made the allegation.
The 53 year old guardian, was arrested for providing false information, and directing the 13 year old during the false reporting.
The 53 year old was also booked on conspiracy charges as they related to an assault with a deadly weapon and criminal threats.
The victim was threatened at gun point, after the 53 year old told family members about the "rape" knowing there was no proof what so ever that a rape had occurred.
The male victim was happy to have his name cleared and has cooperated with law enforcement from the beginning.
