K9 Aero and Iro visit Anderson Heights Elementary School to say Thank you.
On Friday May 13, 2016 at about 1 PM two of Anderson Police Department’s Police K9’s visited the Anderson Heights Elementary School to say thank you to the students. Last year when K9 Aero became deathly ill and had to be removed from duty Ms Tompkins 4th grade class from this school raised their own money to add to the cause to help Aero get better and they made get well cards for Aero. As a way to say thank you to the students, they got their own private demonstration from Officer Hallagan and K9 Aero who has made a wonderful recovery and is back to work. During this visit the students also got to meet our newest K9, Iro and his handler Officer Haynes.
