Minor traffic delays can be expected this evening between 7:00 pm and 8:15 pm for the Ride of Silence. The event will begin at the Vets Memorial Center and go west on 14th St., north on Oak Ave., east on Covell Blvd., south on Poleline Rd. to Cowell Blvd. From there, Cowell Blvd. to the Richards Underpass, east on First St., north on F St., west on 8th St., south on Anderson Rd., east on Russell Blvd. and then south on B St. The ride will conclude at the Bicycle Hall of Fame.

The Davis Police Department is asking motorists to try and find alternative routes and to be patient during this event.
