1000 Block of Estates to be closed May 25 - May 29th for the 2nd Annual Woodway Roadruuner Festival
The 1000 Block of Estates which starts at the intersection of Bosque and Estates will be closed for thru traffic starting May 25th in preparation for the 2nd Annual Woodway Roadrunner Festival. The Festival will be on the City of Woodway complexes at that intersection with live bands, vendors and fireworks on Saturday, May 28th. Please be patient for the temporary road closure and have a great Memorial Day weekend, we hope to see you there.

Friday evening we kick off with the Woodway Wine Tour, this wine and food pairing event is the perfect date night. (tickets are sold separately, $40.00 purchased in advance at 254 399-9204). Saturday begins indoor/outdoor fun, food and live music and fireworks for the whole family at this second annual festival. Adults $6 at the gate. A kids zone with a zipline, bungee jump, rock wall, petting zoo, pony rides and much more ALL INCLUDED in the price of admission. Local student dancer troupes, martial arts show off their talent all day Saturday on the Hometown Stage. Fun for adults: Food trucks with American, Mexican, BBQ, and a well-stocked beer, wine and margarita garden. Saturday night May 28, come hear Kaylee Rutland and hit country music, the Chris Low Band perform. Help us award a $500 scholarship to a Midway High School art student by voting Saturday on your favorite painting, drawing or sculpture. See the stars of Animal Planet’s Rattlesnake Republic perform daring stunts with live snakes, and share important safety tips on what-to-do if you encounter a rattler in the wild. Affordable admission, with pre-sale tickets $5 for adults, available at the Woodway City Hall and Public Safety Department. Adult tickets will be $6 at the gate. Kids 4-12 yrs only $3, and ages 3 and younger free. Proceeds to benefit the Heart of Texas 100 Club, and the Texas Police Chiefs Association Foundation, supporting the families of fallen police officers. Free breakfast Saturday morning at 8:00 to veteran and active military personnel and 1 guest.
