Starting tonight at 8 PM, the southbound lanes of Azusa Ave. will be closed just south of Badillo due to SCE pole replacements. 
The City of Covina Public Works Department advises you to avoid the intersection of Azusa Avenue and Badillo Street starting tonight at 8:00 PM due to the southbound lanes of Azusa being closed south of the intersection. The closure is required while Southern California Edison completes power pole replacements in the area. It is anticipated that the southbound lanes will be reopened by 8:00 AM on Sunday May 22, 2016. There will be a significant amount of congestion in the area during the road closure and it is suggested that motorists use Citrus Avenue, Hollenbeck Avenue, Lark Ellen Avenue, or Vincent Avenue to help alleviate any potential traffic delays.
