Promenade Traffic Collision- Teen Fatality 
On May 22, 2016, at approximately 9:24 p.m. the Corona Police Department responded to the 2000 block of Promenade Avenue regarding a vehicle versus a pedestrian traffic collision.
Upon arrival, officers found the deceased body of a 15-year-old female from Corona, lying in the street. The Corona Police Department’s Collision Reconstruction Team (CRT) responded to the scene to handle the investigation. Traffic investigators believe the victim purposely entered the roadway where she was struck and killed by a vehicle. The driver of the involved vehicle was not injured or cited and the investigation remains active.
